My dog Red suffered a pretty serious foot injury while we were in South Lake Tahoe, and Skyline Pet Hospital was able to get us in on short notice. From the first phone call, the staff was incredibly helpful and understanding while I was trying to manage a stressful situation and get Red there as quickly as possible. Once we arrived, they quickly assessed the injury, cleaned and bandaged his foot, and helped get him stable enough to safely travel back to the Sacramento area for additional treatment. Everyone was professional, compassionate, and efficient, and they handled the situation with a level of care that immediately put me at ease. As a nice bonus, they even followed up afterward to refund a charge for a cone that didn't fit, which speaks to their honesty and attention to detail. I'm very grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend them.

Nine years in Carson Valley with pets, and this is the best yet. We won't be going anywhere else, unless it's an emergency and they are not open. Unfortunately, they're not open every day of the week. But, they are the best.

I had an urgent matter with my dog. Skyline Pet Hospital was able to see him in less than 2 hours. When we arrived, I filled out some paperwork, and they put us in an exam room. The assistant came in and calmed us down and asked questions about the problem. Dr. Fisk came in a few minutes later, diagnosed the problem, and explained what we were dealing with. On top of all of that, the cost was a lot lower than expected. The whole experience from phone call to paying for services was excellent.
